PRIVACY: Your data will be used exclusively by Holiday in Sicily and not by third parties.

With the confirmation of the booking by e-mail, fax or by post, a lease agreement is established between the user and the intermediary.

The part payment is equal to 30% of the total amount, to be paid within 3 days after booking (5 days from abroad), the calculation is made individually.

The balance must be paid 10 weeks before arrival or in cash directly at the place as agreed with the owner.

For bookings made from 1 day to 10 weeks before, full payment will be required, by bank transfer or upon arrival on site, as agreed with the owner.

Regarding the down payment and / or the final payment, not carried out within the respective period, even if the accommodation is contractually available, the intermediary has the right to withdraw with a deadline from the contract and to charge cancellation fees.

We inform you that in the leases with private owners, there is no legal right of withdrawal.

(For the house or the apartment offered by a private person, the law does not apply with a travel contract but for renting §§ 535 ff BGB)

The owner can in case of withdrawal request the flat-rate cancellation fees, in the event that it is not possible to make another occupation of the object.

You will find the cancellation fees on the internet page of each object.

It is up to you to prove if the landlord could not find another occupation for the object.

The customer has the right to find a replacement tenant who discovers all the obligations and rights under the existing lease.

The landlord has the right to refuse the substitute tenant if he does not accept the contents of the contract or the administrative and legal provisions.

We are not a hotel and restaurant business

The apartments and villas booked must be paid in advance.

A reservation from Saturday to Saturday is equivalent to a 7-night booking.

Responsible for all information on the website is the home owner.

The private owners furnish the houses with their own taste. This can lead to changes in decor that were not present when taking pictures (curtains, moving furniture ...).
Holiday in Sicily assumes no responsibility for any changes.

In most holiday homes on www.holidayinsicily.de it is forbidden to smoke! Smoking is allowed on the balcony, terrace, veranda and garden, as all are equipped with ashtrays.

The guest must immediately point out if there is any damage, even if he is not directly responsible and does not cause any disturbance, as on arrival, the owner will check with the host the conditions of the house.
If there are any discrepancies or complaints, the guest should contact the owner or the local intermediary directly. We do not accept claims after the period of stay.

For arrivals after 9 pm:
Many tenants do not live near the holiday home and therefore make use of the help of a collaborator.
For this convenience, some owners require extra fees. A fee between 20 and 50 euros (depending on the subject) which will be counted in cash at the time of check-in.

Check-ins after 24.00 are not possible.

In some provinces, the tourism tax applies. Since this varies according to the season and the area, the fee due can only be communicated on site. Usually the cost is around 1-2 euros per day per person.

The operators of Holiday in Sicily are authorized by the landlords to handle every single item.

Applicable law: This agreement is governed in all respects by the laws of Germany, to make any provision or judgment of state courts located in Friedberg
